gallery wall & wrapped canvas giveaway

The wall above our piano has been the same for a quite a few years. I’ve just had three family photos on it with matching brown frames. Although, I’ve swapped out the family photos, the frames have never changed. Over the last year I’ve wanted to brighten up this wall and finally get rid of the dark brown frames.

Because frames go in and out of style for me, I decided to blow up one family photo I love onto a wrapped canvas. This photo was taken when we became a family of four. It was a special time for us and I love this photo that my sister took because it captures how much we are all in love with the little guy.
After adding a few other objects around the canvas, I was able to come up with a wall arrangement that I’m happy with. I did end up keeping one of the original brown frames up with a wedding photo inserted.

The green, gray, and cream yarn hanging was my first attempt at weaving and it's pretty addicting! I'll post more about my tricks, and what I learned, in another post soon.

This wall is in a location in our home that gets plenty of visual access. It’s also a tricky wall; because of space issues, we can’t center the piano with the wall. So the wall arrangement may be centered but the piano isn’t.

The round starburst mirror is from Target. Aqua arrows are from @littlerubyshushine on Instagram, I nailed them to the stained board. Wooden chalkboard banner is from homeshed. Brown frame on the right is from Michael's. Aqua side cart is from Ikea.

My canvas is from Canvaspop. It’s a 16 x 20 and it’s wrapped on a ¾” thick frame. I am happy with the thickness because it’s perfect to hang on my smaller wall without poking so far out and overwhelming the area. The hanging wire on the back of the canvas is nice and sturdy and a nail and metal hook was provided for easy hanging. The details of this canvas are beautiful and I’m in love with the size.

This brings the large canvas count in my home now to four. I love the largeness and the frameless option they give. Canvases are easy to dust and easy to care for, they are a classic option for any home.

If you’ve always wanted to try a quality canvas but have been turned off by the price, there is no reason to use that excuse anymore. I’m happy to share that canvaspop is offering my readers a 35% off coupon. The code EDEENUT35 expires April 30, 2015 and is applicable to your entire order on canvaspop.com. Try it and let me know what you think. I’m sure you will be pleased!

I am also giving away a canvas! One lucky reader will win a 16 x 20 gallery wrapped canvas stretched on a .75" frame depth from canvaspop. This is valued at $80 and I’m super excited for you to win this!
