Lately I've taken to scarf wearing. I liked the look on others and decided they are a perfect accessory.
When I saw these sheets on clearance I had a few ideas run through my head and a scarf was the first.
I cut two long pieces and thought I would sew them together so the scarf would be a double thickness. But after trying it on I decided that would be way too thick. One thickness was enough. I added a few wheat stalks with fabric paint and paper stencils from the printer. Here is the pattern I used for the wheat. You can easily draw your own, but I was lazy and thought why draw more if someone else already did the work for you?
Because the painting went so quickly and I already had an extra piece of fabric cut out I decided I would offer a little giveaway. I don't need two identical brown scarfs.
So If you are interested in winning your very own brown knit scarf leave me a comment with your name and a way to contact you (email or make sure your blog is linkable.)
I'll choose a winner next weekend. Saturday, sounds good!
