I can't count the many questions and comments I have received about
My Pottery Barn Couch inspired Slipcover.
I'm thrilled that so many of you liked it.
I thought I would give a little info here to answer the general question.
I have made a couple covers in the past that fit odd shaped couches.
There is really no pattern for each individual couch so that is where the tricky part comes in. You have to make your own pattern and eye ball it.
You don't necessarily have to eye ball it exactly, this is the good news! This pattern helps with that.
This is what I got to "teach" me what to do and help me eye ball it. It helps you make your own pattern for your own odd shaped couch or your normal shaped couch (If you are so lucky...I'm jealous if you are so lucky). It also helps you estimate the amount of fabric you will need for you own couch, chair, ottoman, or whatever it is you want to cover.
Because who wants to run out of fabric half way through?
The pattern is McCalls M3278
Not even sure if it's still in print.
I love answering questions so feel free to keep asking!
